Florida Dentistry group, Inc is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Worth, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant who speak English, Spanish and a foreign Dentist to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring infection control protocols are followed, and providing exceptional patient care. If you are passionate about dentistry and have the necessary skills and qualifications, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns

Requirement
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in dental software systems (Epic, Eaglesoft, CAD)
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $24.34 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:
